Do not know if you all have been as busy as me these days, stock for the pop up shop is starting to arrive and at the same time I have been traveling between Sweden, London and South of France. Not complaining but kind of looking forward to go home to Sweden this weekend to relax and cuddle with my new little niece.

Today's dream outfit

London keeps delivering warm summer temperatures. Best outfit for a nice warm city day
Dress from zara here, Valentino rockstud sandals from here and Hermes Birkin bag (from Santa or some other generous person around you).

The most likely thing to end up in my closet here is the dress, will head to my local Zara asap!

Summertime

The next few days I am replacing busy London city life with the Alicante..can't wait. Then back to London quickly to re-pack and the journey goes on to south west Sweden..the west coast, the best coast. I am flipping threw the pictures on my phone and online and just can not wait. Family, friends, meatballs, beach..

House of Dagmar

All these sales are so dangerous. One of my favourite Swedish labels House of Dagmar is marked down on several online sites and I am sold on this jumper and skirt. Worn together like a dress, or the top with white trousers and the skirt together with just a white tee or silk shirt. Swedish design at its best. Been finding excuses to buy myself birthday treats for the past month now and when your Bday is in July you just time it with all the sales so very tempting...promise this is the last gift to myself though!

The Silk Vault

Yesterday I met with a very talented and inspiring woman here in London that designs the most fabulous silk scarves. I am such a fan of luxurious silk to start with so when Vanja (the founder and owner) told me about her inspirational journeys for the design then started the unwrap the scarves in front of me I was sold!  I love products that have a story like this and that is like a piece of art. Enhance every outfit straight away and makes a perfect present. Happy Midsummer Eve

Today is Midsummer eve and a big celebration day home in Sweden. My favourite holiday of the year and the time I miss Sweden the most.

As the fairy-tale says, you are suppose to pick 7 different flowers today and put them under your pillow. Whatever man you dream about is suppose to be your future husband. You never get too old for those kind of stories.

Today I get inspired by this woman and her family. I borrowed the pictures from her blog and it summarise a lot how I remember midsummer as a child. If you live in London there is a big picnic in Hyde Park tomorrow, put those flowers in your hair and join a big crew of Swedes in the dance around the midsummer pole.

50 shades of Blonde

Looking to adding some extra highlights to my natural blonde hair this summer, and a gentle trim as well. Been growing my hair out the length I wanted and colour to almost natural. But now the sun is shining and I get want to go a bit lighter, will follow up with pictures soon. In the meantime, here is my inspiration.

My wish list

Wish list include Rolex datejust in salmon, nude Chanel flap bag, Cartier Love Bracelet, YSL bag, custommade silk trousers and Ahlvar silk top. A bit of a ridiculous list I know but you need to wish big!

Ahlvar summer sale is on!

The sale is on at Swedish label Ahlvar. I just love these silk blouses, so simple but still details that make them stand out and goes with everything. Now I just need to decide on the colour, as usual I want them both! These ones never go out of style and grab them now for half the price, you will wear them forever!

Trunk Clothiers

For all the stylish men out there, there is a hidden treasury of hand picked fashion in Marylebone, London. Trunk Clothiers was set up 2010 and quickly became a popular one stop shop for the fashionable gentlemen. It is run by a fellow Swede and you can feel the Scandinavian vibes in the hand picked pieces. Mats Klingberg have managed to collect the best of brands from Japan, Italy, UK, and the US (he was the first every retailer that started to sell J Crew in the UK for example)

Right next to the clothing store there is now a Trunk Labs, where you can find all the accessories a busy man needs, everything from luggage tags, umbrella, things for the office, you name it.

The shops are both located on Chiltern Street in Marylebone (just kind of behind Oxford Street) Worth a visit and something else than browse around the jungle at Selfridges.

Jumpsuits

At a quick glance, jumpsuits always look a bit ridiculous to me. A grown up woman dressed in a baby outfit...BUT, when you style it right (high heels, do not even try to wear a jumpsuit without heels) it looks so effortless chic and sexy.

Jumpsuits are really trendy this summer, visited the English brand Reiss the other day and they had several of them in their collection. Same with Swedish Filippa K and H&M. If you only buying one jumpsuit, make it black and simple in silk. Such a nice substitute to a dress...but please, no flats! Unless you really do want to look like a grown up baby:)
