Hello California

 I am spending some holiday time in Solvang, California. Enjoying the nice weather and to get away from the London rain for awhile. Have to say I was missing my family and the regular Swedish Xmas we have at home but that will be for next year. Been enjoying long bike rides and morning walks. Its freezing in the morning here in the valley but warms up a lot during the day. Also working on my website and slowly making progress. It's New years Eve tomorrow, bye bye 2013 and hello 2014. I can't believe that!

The pop up has received its first letter...not a very interesting one but the first one with the name of the company on it and everything. Bought my only few Xmas gifts this weekend, since I am not going home to see my family i am not getting much gifts this year, so mostly for the bf really. Went to Harrods, it was mad. So hot inside as well, doesn't help that you are walking around in a winter coat. In one week i am off to California and at least get out some grey London weather for while.

Location location

As we all know, when it comes to retail location is super important. Today I went to Sloane square to take a closer look at this retail space i have seen available for pop up shops. However, the space is now taken but still wanted to take a look at it. Its almost right by the tube station, you come out from the tube and make a right and then its just around the corner. Very good location and also very expensive. There is an eye wear shop opening there soon but fingered crossed they won't stay there long (or that I find something better and cheaper) Sloane square was also so busy for being a Sunday. probably also because Xmas is like 3 weeks away.

My pop up shop, the beginning..

I am opening my pop up shop in mid September. We will promote Scandinavian designers and help them create attention in the UK. Follow my journey here..
